The Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology – Exercise Science & Fitness is a comprehensive four-year degree designed for those called to lead in the fields of human performance and wellness. Our curriculum prepares students to design, implement, and lead evidence-based exercise programs that support both individual health and athletic performance. Program Requirements
The Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology – Exercise Science & Fitness program welcomes students who are dedicated to academic rigor and Christ-centered service in the health and fitness industry.
- Academic Foundation: Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent is required for general admission to the University.
- GPA Standards: Prospective students should possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale to ensure readiness for bachelor’s-level academic work.
- Core Readiness: Strong preparation in high school mathematics and biological sciences is highly recommended to support success in human anatomy and physiology courses.
- Clinical & Practicum Components: Students must commit to 100 observation hours in clinical or fitness settings as part of their upper-division practicum experience.
- Ongoing Progression: Maintenance of a 2.5 GPA within major core courses is required to progress into senior-level lab assessments and program design work.
